Our online shop is appropriately named “The Hebridean Catch”, as all our products are sourced from the pristine waters around the Outer Hebrides. Some such as lobster and crab are caught mainly on the Atlantic Seaboard on the West of the Hebrides, and some such as Langoustine and scallops are caught on the Eastern Seaboard or the Minch as it is known.

East or West the Hebrides are surrounded by some of the cleanest and pollution free waters in the world. St Kilda or Hirta as it is better known locally is a little to the West of us and after that nothing but thousands of miles of Atlantic to Canada and America for which shores many island people sailed to start a new life and help build new countries.

Land of Youth or “Tir–nan-Og” in ancient Celtic tradition lies out there and indeed Gaelic is still widely spoken in the Hebrides, and by people in our company. All four directors speak Gaelic, skippers and crews in the fishing boats converse in Gaelic and it is spoken on the factory floor. Some people from Eastern Europe have been with us for several years and even they can speak a little Gaelic!

Some of our products can be loose or unpackaged but most of them are available beautifully packaged and are very suitable to order as a gift for your friends.They are ideal for parties, any celebration or occasion and are as good for Summer barbecues as they are for Winter feasts.
